Just 10 minutes from junction 15 of the M4, Thyme Cottage is a character stone farm cottage with many original features nestled in Idstone, a tranquil 12th century hamlet at the foot of the ancient Ridgeway route and near the mythical Wayland Smithy. Ideally located for walking and cycling the local National Trails, visiting the National Trust properties around us or any other attraction.


In an area of outstanding beauty and historic charm, Thyme Cottage offers something for everyone be it relaxation for ramblers or just respite from the rough and tumble of business life.


You will receive a warm and friendly welcome from Toni and Martin who will be at hand to help with your requirements, information about the local area or leave you in peace if you prefer!


An extensive breakfast menu is available which is served in a pleasant and comfortable dining room or outside on the patio, weather permitting.
